Osteopaths are no longer able to claim (in written literature or on websites) to treat conditions that there is not strong evidence for; this is a measure brought in by the Advertising Standards Agency to protect the public from misleading claims. As a profession we are researching all the time but haven't got the required level of research yet for everything that we treat.
